Disappointed in these beans after enjoying a bag my wife brought home from one of her flight attendant pit stops. That bag of beans was very smooth, full rich, smoky flavor that I enjoy in a dark roast. First pot was watery with very little flavor. Next pot, used more beans, adjusted burr grind & taste was enhanced, but was bitter & edgy. Opened a different bag with similar results. Ended up blending it a Mexican dark roast to smooth & sweeten the pour.

I'm a newer coffee drinker. I love anything with a chocolate flavor 😋 this blend is delicious.

We were replacing a Kona coffee we had been on subscription for many years and it simply got too expensive. While there is truly no replacement for a Kona 100%, we were looking for some of the same qualities, like the air roast process that keeps the coffee smooth and not bitter, burnt or smoky tasting. Well, after a ton of research and many combinations, we landed on the Volcanic Roast here at BA. It has provided us years of smooth, dark, delicious coffee. The customer service is top tier as well. I reached out with a simple delivery issue and they fixed it right away. We are customers for life at this point! Keep going BA!
