The FDD
The Franchise Disclosure Document is one of the most important steps in the process of becoming a badass. After we receive your application, we will send you our FDD to give you a look at essential information ahead of joining our ‘ohana.

Experience our Aloha Spirit up close with a store visit and a chance to have a face-to-face meeting with the Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii franchise support team.
Franchise Agreement
After you experience Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii in person, you’ll review and sign the franchise agreement. Once signed, you officially begin the process of opening your first Bad Ass Coffee location.
Location Selection
Our team will work with a strategic real estate partner to help you determine the best location for your Bad Ass Coffee store that will set you and your team up for success.
Onboarding
Starting with franchise orientation and followed by strategic meetings throughout the construction and opening process, the Bad Ass Coffee team supports you to ensure the Aloha Spirit is ready to be shared on day one.
Construction
Whether you are building from the ground up or building out an existing space, our operations team is with you every step of the way – allowing for an on-time, on-budget, Bad Ass Grand Opening.
Training
We provide our franchisees with comprehensive pre-opening training that ensures you feel ready to serve your community from the moment you open.
GRAND Opening
The grand opening might be the last step, but the process begins months ahead. Our franchise support team understands that big events require months of planning for perfect execution and will provide recommendations based on past successful grand openings for media, incentives, budget and more.
POST Opening
The Bad Ass support doesn’t stop at your grand opening – we provide our franchisees with as much support and expert advice as you need throughout the life of your business!

Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii has a three-store minimum development commitment and a requirement of $1.5M Net Worth and Liquid Capital of $500,000. Please note that Bad Ass Coffee's efforts and resources are focused on expanding the brand in the United States, including Hawaii. At present, we are not developing internationally.
